PHAAR CHARITY PROJECT (PCP1) - For ONDOY Victims

PHAAR Would like to thank members and friends from the "Australian Association of Architectural Illustrators" (AAAI) who sent their donations for the victims of ONDOY in the Philippines. The total amount of our donation is PHP 11,124.00. The donations has been recieved by Mr. Joe Taruc of DZRH Manila Broadcasting Company and even acknowledged it on air nation-wide.

Once again we would like to thank the members and friends who have participated in this charity project.

ASAI TOKYO Conference 2011

PHAAR is invited to participate in the upcoming ASAI TOKYO Conference 2011 which will be held in conjunction with the International Union of Architects (UIA) Conference
24th Sept - 2nd October 2011
With 10,000 people expected to attend the 2011 UIA Conference, ASAI member Masaaki Yamada has successfully negotiated for ASAI to jointly participate. A week long program will allow ASAI and UIA delegates to jointly access both programs. Included is the largest international exhibition of architectural illustration featuring AIP26 (ASAI) and exhibitions from Japan (JARA), Korea (KAPA), Australia (AAAI) and China. The retreat will be in Kyoto and the conference program with include opportunities to visit significant cultural and historical landmarks

The World Architecture Festival (WAF)

The 2010 World Architecture Festival thematic exhibition will be based on the theme of ‘Transformations’. Earlier this year we conducted our third worldwide industry survey to help determine the current state of the field and how the current economy has impacted businesses. Our last survey was conducted in 2006. The survey this year was taken by almost 3,000 respondents and provided some very insightful information about where things are headed.
